Bu-TRUCK: Bu-TRUCK is an ambitious project run by various nationals from the East African Community (EAC). It aims at mobilizing the diaspora and friends of Burundi, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Congo, and Kenya in an united endeavor to:- Promote economic and social development in these countries;
- Facilitate the implementation of projects in the development sector;
- Facilitate the implementation of projects in the development sector;
- Bu-TRUCK will start its mission as an association before its full-fledged development into a cooperative company.

Vision
Bu-TRUCK:- Mobilizing and engaging the diaspora and friends of Burundi, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda, Congo and Kenya to build up an investment fund;
- Providing opportunities to the East African diaspora to invest and work in their countries of origin;
- Attracting foreign investors and stakeholders with new opportunities to invest in the region;
- Contributing to the socio-economic development of the region.

Objectives
Bu-TRUCK:- Short-term goals: During the first months, Bu-TRUCK was run as an association, strengthening its membership. Membership requires a minimum contribution of 100 CHF or 100 USD per month; with no ceiling. This stage is already done.
- Mid-term goals (6-12 months): Since 30 october 2010, Bu-TRUCK is a cooperative company under Swiss law. Investment activities in the East African countries wiil begin with this stage.
- Long-term goals (from 2 years onwards): Bu-TRUCK will (on the basis of its track record of results achieved to date) expand its investment ventures by extending its partnerships and networking with institutional investors and High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI).
